The new design is great and i'm a little bit jeaolus
Your blog is getting bigger and bigger day by day and you will have much more advertisers than now.
The sidebar of the your blog will be verrry colorful (12 small ad boxes and few big ad boxes...) so i think the main part(post side) of the blog must be as much white as it can be.

I'd say less space horizontally between the page buttons.
When scanning the Read More button appears as if it is for the post below it rather than the one above like it should. I think that if you put the Read More button above the separator rather than below that it would fix that.
Not feelin the 715 tweets text.
One thing I would suggest tough is applying a bit more padding/spacing on the left and right of the post area ("Presenting the Great New Features of..."). Looks and feels a little cramped so maybe an extra 20px's either side would let it breath a lot more and look cleaner.
Otherwise looks great!
I'm not sure about the sliders. You really want to use two sliders here? In featured image and pagination? I think I prefer the usual old way, 1 2 3 4 ... Last. I'm not sure anyone want to go to 35 or 13.
The number 2 in comment number 2 is too distracting. You should keep it subtle as in the other comments/
Other than those two things, your design is great. Can't wait to see it live.

i don't like the font used in Reply, Submit and Read More buttons
I don't understand though what you don't like in that font - it is used throughout whole site, do not want to mix too much fonts - now there are two - one for headings, other for everything else textual.
since they are all buttons, you should use the same techniques on the Comments, read more, reply and submit.
